This rather breaks Dragoons as they cannot sit in covering terrain and shoot at things like mounted until the mounted are on top of them. The cover should only work for units looking at the units in cover. This would mean that Dragoons could shoot out at targets in the open or indeed in the cover but far enough away to render the Dragoons invisible. The old FoG:R mechanism of becoming visible to just your target when you choose to shoot was a good mechanism for allowing the historical sniping that Dragoons were best at without rendering them invulnerable to return fire.
Hi Steve, they can sit in cover (getting that claim) , they just need to be within (V) of the edge to see out. I’d rather avoid the complexity of I can see you and you can’t see me, as this adds little to the game experience.
We can however, put this for review in the 2023 release
