Allied Commands
« on: October 02, 2021, 11:27:06 AM »
So looking at Bavarians who can have French allies - I can't see anything in the rules about Allied commands? I know in MeG you have to have to have a proportion of compulsary troops & up to a maximum of 4 units - but does it work that way in ReG? If so it would seem odd having a mixed cavalry / infantry command when as far as I can see they tended to be brigaded seperately.

Which list are you talking about, if the 18th century lists that is a good point and I will look at a solution for that

In next release minimums will only apply if you get any of that type ie foot or mounted

Most lists have compulsary artillery - so presumably whether mounted or foot you must take artillery. Effectively reducing the number of mobile units to just 3 at a maximum.

Artillery is never compulsory for allies
