2021 army generator, beginners question

Hi there,

I would like to learn about the rules by setting up my first army list with the Excel generator. I downloaded the lastest Version.

First point where I am lost is to pick Formation and Training. In the PDF 17th century for example there is stated:

Demi Cuirassiers Formation & Training F/l

The options for Training in the sheet are:

*Drilled
*Formed
*Tribal

The Options for Formation in the sheet are:

*Pike and Shot
*Early Pike & Shot
*Later Keil
*Tercio
*Bande
*Colunela
*Caracole
*Later Caracole
*Dragoons Pre C18
*Dragoons C18
*Foot Regt
*Close Combat Formation
*Artillery

So my guess would be that I have to pick "Formed" and "later caracole"?

Am I missing something here?

F/L is Formed & Loose you you'll need to pick loose in the Organisation column. In addition any missile weapons and Charge and Melee weapons. And finally any compulsory and optional Special Characteristics.
