Helion Century of the Soldier

I have just finished reading 'The Most Heavy Stroke' The battle of Roundway Down and it was another excellent read. Well researched and lots of information.

If you haven't seen these books they cover not only the ECW but also Europe. I can only speak for the 4 ECW books I have read, but I will be buying more.

I have yet to find a bad one in The Century of the Soldier series - I appear to have amassed 22 so far ...  ;D

Just read the one on the plug bayonet, very interesting - I'd suggest reading along with the thesis on English shooting methods I mentioned elsewhere, think there is stuff for rules tweaking.
