SH-AH development week

All a bit quiet I know but having joined in last week a fair bit Alasdair and I are having a good and busy week testing ideas over two countries. 

So far I have done 2 ECW games and a going to try Samurai vs Ottomans tomorrow.  Alasdair has done several 30YW games and Italian wars.  A bit more testing to go and AH is then going to pit up where we got to.

To me it is feeling brought tom life in both play and historical character.  I am rather enthused about the period and have bought a load of figures on eBay.  And be damned I am looking at Poles and Muscovites now - any good suggestions for figure ranges.

And one really cool think we have altered that we already have agreed - just refining it.

Slowing effect of fire was more for ancients.  The new concept in ReG will be driven back by fire.  This give s the character of the period more as infantry in particular gave ground in intense firefights. Working beautifully.

Working beautifully.
As are most other tweaks now.
Alasdair defining ready ro put out next week.

Now have had two of the best Renaissance period game sever.
One ECW that felt right and one Samurai vs Ottomans that felt wild - but also right.

Planning a ReG day tomorrow to polish the army builder up etc. so we can get things out next week.  Thanks for your patience.  Tired eyes from proofing 240 pages of Mortem et Gloriam but it looks magnificent.  A new standard IMHO.

FYI, the builder doesn't work correctly in Libre 6.3.5 or excel.  I posted details in "Remaining thoughts" thread.
